While REALTORS® hit the road on the Motorcycle Ride for Charity to raise funds for the REALTORS Care® Foundation this morning, the REALTORS® Association of Hamilton Burlington (RAHB) made its own contribution to the Foundation by presenting a cheque for $32,250 to Foundation director Jenny Kotulak.
RAHB president Tim Mattioli made the presentation to Ms. Kotulak on behalf of RAHB members and noted that “REALTORS® everywhere have an interest in building better communities, and the members of the REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington are honoured to support the Foundation’s efforts.”
The REALTORS Care® Foundation provides grants to shelter-related causes and charities across Ontario. Local past recipients of Foundation grants include the YWCA Hamilton, Mission Services, Mark Preece Family House, Support & Housing – Halton, Wesley Urban Ministries, the Compassion Society of Halton and Habitat for Humanity – Halton.
