RAHB Community Initiatives
Donations, Grants and the REALTORS Care® Foundation
We at the REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington believe in assisting local shelter-related organizations. We make direct donations to shelter-related organizations (upon request) and support organizations’ applications for grants from the REALTORS Care® Foundation.
For more information about whether your organization qualifies for a donation or RAHB support, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Also check out the Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation for information about grants to shelter-related charitable organizations.

RAHB Scholarship in Memory of Karan Barker
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) launched the Karan Barker Memorial Scholarship/Bursary Fund in 2001. The Scholarship was established to recognize Karan Barker’s contributions to RAHB and to the real estate profession. Karan was a 25 year employee of the Association. She began her career as a secretary and rose through the ranks to executive officer, a position she held for 12 years. The scholarship is a living legacy to her dedication and professionalism.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity can bring the community together to help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable home ownership. Home ownership is central to REALTORS® and is one of our community pillars at RAHB – it is what we do every day.
