June 2016 Real Estate Market Still Sizzling
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1,877 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in June. Sales were 8.8 per cent lower than the same month last year yet were still the second highest sales on record.
Record Sales for May 2016
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1,844 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in May. Sales were two per cent higher than the same month last year and set a new record for the month of May.
Re-Sale Market Still Hot in April 2016
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1,649 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in April. Sales were 2.7 per cent lower than the same month last year yet 13 per cent higher than the 10-year average.
New Month Record Set in March 2016
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1,482 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in March, a new record for the month. Sales were 6.8 per cent higher than the same month last year and 15.2 per cent higher than the 10-year average.
It’s All About Inventory in February 2016
RAHB reported through its MLS® System that sales were five per cent higher than the same month last year and 9.8 per cent higher than the 10-year average. It was the highest number of sales for the month of February since 2006.
Low Inventory Going Into January 2016
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 779 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in January. Sales were 9.3 per cent higher than the same month last year and four per cent higher than the 10-year average.
Seller’s Market to Continue in 2016
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) expects to see much the same real estate market in 2016 as in 2015.
Fifth straight month for record sales in December 2015
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 802 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in December of 2015. Sales were 1.3 per cent higher than the same month the previous year, 17.6 per cent higher than the 10-year average, and were a new record for the month of December. This is the fifth month in a row where the record for monthly sales has been broken.
November 2015 Sales Another Monthly Record
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1,262 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in November. Sales were 15.1 per cent higher than the same month last year, 23.8 per cent higher than the 10-year average, and were a record for the month of November. This is the fourth month in a row where records for monthly sales have been broken.
Strong sales continue in October 2015
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1,421 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in October. Sales were 13 per cent higher than the same month last year, 25.8 per cent higher than the 10-year average, and were a record for the month of October. This is the third month in a row where records for monthly sales have been broken.
Another monthly sales record set in September 2015
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1,387 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in September. Sales were 8.2 per cent higher than the same month last year and 25.2 per cent higher than the 10-year average, and were a record for the month of September.
New Sales Record Set for Month of August 2015
The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1,300 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in August. Sales were 7.2 per cent higher than the same month last year and 12.4 per cent higher than the 10-year average.
