Instructor: MarkWeisleder In this new seminar, Mark Weisleder, LLB., REI, teaches what you need to know about all aspects of assigning a new home, new condominium or re-sale agreement, as they are becoming more frequently used in the real estate industry. By the end of this session you will:  - Learn the terminology to be able to identify the original buyer from the builder who is now selling their agreement to the new buyer; - Understand whether you can flip a re-sale deal before closing - Learn when you need to ask for permission before you can assign a builder agreement - Learn how to properly complete the assignment agreement form 150 - Understand how to establish the total purchase price for the assignment agreement, including the determination of commission payable; - Learn how to make sure you get paid your commission in advance of final registration - Understand when the deposits paid under the original agreement are to be returned to the original buyer as well as any profit; - Learn what land transfer tax is based on for the final buyer: - Understand whether there are any HST consequences if the final buyer is not moving into the unit on closing - Understand all HST issues for the seller/Assignor when assigning a new home or condominium
